Appalachian State University's New River Light and Power (NRLP) will join over 2,000 not-for-profit public power utilities in celebration of Public Power Week October 1 - 7. To start the week off right, stop by our office located at 146 Faculty Street Ext. on Monday, October 2 from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. for coffee and pastries. Grab a quick breakfast to power your day or stay a while to learn more about your hometown utility. Information on many of our programs and resources will be available, including energy efficiency tips, energy audits and NRLP's Green Power Program.
